Admission Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited associate degree program in related field
  • A minimum of 60 semester hours
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above
  • The following foundation courses are required to be transferred in:
    • Introduction to Hospitality Management (or equivalent)
    • Culinary I AND Lab (or equivalent)
    • Professional Baking AND Lab (or equivalent)
    • Menu Planning and Controls (or equivalent)
    • Nutrition I (or equivalent)
    • Financial Accounting (or equivalent)
  • Liberal arts and science courses with a grade of "C" or above in:
    • Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Science or Western Civilization, American History, Other World Civilization or Foreign Language, Humanities or Arts, Basic Communication
