Which Bachelor degree programs are offered by SUNY Delhi through the Suffolk CC campus?
You can earn a BBA in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Culinary Arts Management. Upper division courses will be offered in person and through a distance learning format through SUNY Delhi. Lower division courses remaining to earn the BBA would be taken through the SCC campus.
Who can apply for these programs?
These programs have been designed for graduates with an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Suffolk CC with at least a 2.30 GPA or higher.top
Explain the Transfer Credit Policy:
Depending on your previous degree and credits, a maximum of 63 lower level applicable course credit hours can be transferred. Only course credits with a grade of D or better will transfer, with the exception of Freshman Composition, which must be at least a grade of C.
Can I take courses with both Delhi and Suffolk CC at the same time and be considered eligible for full-time financial aid?
Yes. Through the Visiting Student Agreement between SUNY Delhi and their Inter-Institutional Partners, students may take courses at both institutions to meet the minimum course credit requirements mandated by federal and state regulations for financial aid. Any combination of credits is acceptable, although it is required that students take at least one of their courses each semester through Delhi. Visiting Student Forms must be completed each semester. A copy of your Suffolk CC course schedule must be attached to this form and submitted to Justin Morgan, Assistant Director of Student Financial Services.
How does Financial Aid work?
When you apply to the SUNY Delhi Joint Program you will be given contact information for the SUNY Delhi Financial Aid office and the necessary financial aid forms. Where can I buy textbooks?
Textbooks for SUNY Delhi online courses can be purchased online through the SUNY Delhi bookstore. Visit the Campus Store on-line. Textbooks for classes at SCC will be purchased at the SCC bookstore.
How do I register for classes?
You will receive advance notice of pre-registration periods and will set an appointment to speak with your SUNY Delhi Advisor. Your advisor will provide you with an Alternative PIN number and date for registration. Once successfully registered, students will have access through Bronco Web on the SUNY Delhi website to print their semester schedules.
Can I attend part-time?
Yes. Students can attend full or part-time.
What if I have to withdraw from a course?
If you need to withdraw from a course, you need to submit a letter of withdraw in writing to your SUNY Delhi Advisor, who will review the procedure and assist you in completing the necessary steps. Depending upon the date of your withdrawal from class, fees may apply.
How do I obtain my grades?
Once enrolled in the SUNY Delhi program, each student will receive a PIN number to access their semester schedule, course grades and Delhi student email account online through Bronco Web.
What are tuition and fees?
Currently, tuition and college fees for SUNY Delhi a 3 credit course is $771.00, not including college fees. Books and materials are not included. Full-time tuition for 12 credits or more is $3085.00.
