Description of Tuition and Fees

• In-State Tuition – Cost of college courses for qualified NYS residents only.
• Out-of-state Tuition, Associate's Degree - Cost of college courses for out-of-state residents in an Associate Degree program.
• Out-of-state Tuition, Bachelor's Degree - Cost of college courses for out-of-state residents enrolled in a Bachelor Degree program.

The Comprehensive Student Fee is charged to all students and consists of the following:

• College fee - (mandatory) Fee required by all State operated campuses.
• Athletic Fee - (mandatory) Supports all athletic programs, facilities and equipment and is open to all students.
• Health Services Fee - (mandatory) Fee that covers the cost of the Health Center. Students are able to use the health center services for minor illnesses and also offers counseling services.
• Technology Fee - (mandatory) Supports the computer center and facilitates the continued improvement of computer systems and services such as email, classroom technology, technical help, and wireless connections.
• Student Activity Fee - (mandatory) Supports a wide range of cultural and educational programs as well as student entertainment including weekend movies, comedians, bands, and more.
• Transcript Fee - (mandatory) Covers the cost of all transcript requests present and future.
• Transportation Fee - (mandatory) Supports costs for transportation both on and off-campus including the Bronco Bus and academic vans.
• Alumni Fee - (optional) Charged to full-time students only (12 credits or more per semester). Donation to the alumni association. Provides students with a lifetime membership into the Alumni Association which includes invitations to reunions and class trips, a free subscription to Delhi’s official magazine, Delhi Horizons, lifetime use of the Resnick Library, as well as other benefits.
• Fitness Fee -(optional) Provides unlimited use of the campus fitness center.
• Print Fee - (optional) Allows students access to print to campus owned public printers from campus owned computers and student owned computers managed through each student's campus ID card. 

Payment of Charges

Tuition bills for each semester are e-mailed prior to Orientation. All charges are due and payable in full to the "State University of New York at Delhi" by the due date of the bill or prior to the start of classes - whichever comes first.

Miscellaneous Fees and Fines*

Students who register after the first day of classes will be charged a $40 late-registration fee.

Students attending Fall Orientation will be assessed an $80 orientation fee. Students beginning classes in January and attending Spring Orientation will be assessed a $30 fee.

A returned check charge of $20 will be assessed for any check returned or redeposited.

Any student who does not pay the balance due in full by the indicated due date may be assessed a $30 administrative fee.

A $20 fee will be charged to any student wishing to add a course after the first five days of class or drop a course after the first four weeks of class.

A $20.00 Social Fee is assessed to all students living in the Residence Halls. This fee is optional and can be waived through the Student Accounts Office.

Financial Obligation of Students

A student will not receive grades, transcripts, or any official recognition for work completed until all bills due the College have been paid.

RESIDENCE HALL RATES*

Fall 2011-Spring 2012 Room Rates Per Semester:

There is a $20.00 Social Fee charged to all students living on campus.  This fee is optional, and can be waived by contacting Student Accounts.

Triple Rooms - Students may end up in a Tripled Room.  Students who are tripled will be billed the Double Room rate above.  Students will receive the following credits to their student account if they are still tripled by:

2nd week of classes - $162.50 credit

Mid-point of semester - $162.50 credit

TUITION AND FEES FOR STUDENTS IN ONLINE DEGREE PROGRAMS: RN to BSN, Vet Tech BBA, IBEW* (All other students click here.)

Tuition and fees are charged based on a per-credit-hour basis until a student reaches full-time (12 credits or more) status according to the chart below. Tuition rates for NYS residents and Out-of-State Residents are the same for Online Programs.

REFUNDS AND REFUND POLICIES

Students may leave college at any time and for any reason. Students withdrawing from college must obtain an Application for Withdrawal form from Counseling and Health Services and obtain clearance from each of the offices listed on the form.
