Business Management - Certificate
The Instructional Program
The one-year certificate program in Business Management is primarily for full- or part-time students who, through selected business course work, seek professional improvement or who wish to re-enter the workforce. Students interested in the one-year certificate program in Business Management should apply to the Business Administration A.A.S. degree program.
Students may participate in the Bronco Investment Group (BIG). The purposes of BIG are to learn and evaluate investment opportunities; acquire knowledge about money; use money to make money; learn to make wise decisions regarding money; and avoid major financial mistakes. BIG uses an online simulator to buy and sell stocks each week at club meetings.
The Business Administration program is designed so that students may concentrate on a chosen topical area in addition to taking required courses. Students in this program will have ample opportunity for exposure to computer applications and uses. Upon completion of the certificate, students can either seek employment or continue their studies in an associate degree program.
