Golf and Sports Turf Management

The 4-year Bachelors of Business Administration in Golf and Sports Turf Management prepares students to become a leader in the golf course industry.  Combining the technical and agronomic classwork found in the Golf Course Operations degree program with upper-level business and management studies, graduates enter the workforce prepared to manage staff and complex budgets.  Graduates currently work as Golf Course Superintendents, Irrigation and Spray Technicians, Turf/Golf Industry Company Sales, and Golf Course General Managers. Landscape Design and Management

Students in the Landscape Design and Management associates degree program will gain practical experience in the design, installation and maintenance of residential and commercial landscapes. Graduates are hired by corporate and private landscape management companies, design and build firms, irrigation contractors, public gardens, wholesale nurseries and retail garden centers. The 2-year Horticulture degree gives students a broad overview of the horticulture field. The program is an excellent choice for students who plan to start a retail nursery or greenhouse operation, become a professional gardener or an estate caretaker, pursue an advanced degree, or for those who simply have a personal interest in the subject. Business and Professional Golf Management

As part of the Business Division, the 4-year BBA in Business and Professional Golf Management (PGM) is for students who are interested in becoming the club professional at a golf course.  The club professional must be a competent player, serve the membership and run the Pro Shop (conducts lessons and clinics, organizes tournaments, maintains inventory and sales records, creates budgets, manages staff, and is involved with the day-to-day operations of the club).
