SUNY Delhi's Online RN to BSN program has been developed to better accommodate working nurses. Our semesters are broken down into two sessions and each session is seven weeks long. With this configuration, the student is still able to complete up to four classes per semester with the added convenience of only having to focus on two classes per session.

All incoming students will be automatically registered for UNIV 300 their first session. This course is a stand-alone course. Most students continue to complete the program on a part-time basis (1 course per 7 week session). Classes can be intense and require dedication to complete. Please keep this in mind when estimating the length of the program.

The student is responsible for locating a practicum site and preceptor. We must be affiliated with the agency or hospital and the preceptor must also be approved by the Practicum Coordinator. Please make sure this is something you are able to do before becoming a student at SUNY Delhi.  There are no agencies that are under any obligation to provide practicum experiences for our BSN students, it is always student driven.


General Education Requirements

• Students must meet 7 of the 10 general education categories through their associate and BSN program
• General education requirements that have not been met through the associate degree program must be met through the completion of the upper level elective courses.
