Professor Vance joined SUNY Delhi's RN to BSN program in 2012. She has previously taught Anatomy & Physiology and Exercise Physiology Labs at the University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as Statistical Methods at Baker College, and Statistics and Research Methods and Dissertation Committee Work at Northcentral University.
She is currently working with the National Center for Education Statistics to make large education databases accessible and useful to graduate student researchers, and she is a Peer Reviewer for the Journal of Instructional Research. Professor Vance earned a PhD in Education from Colorado State University, as well as an MS and BS in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Professor Vance is a current member of the American Education Research Association (AERA), the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
