Meeting called to order by Presider, Julee Miller at 4:16 pm

Quorum established at 4:21 p.m.

Senators Present: David Brower, Donna Dougherty, Cindy Elston (also proxy for Thomas Philion), Terry Hamblin, Kim MacLeod, Penny Pardoe, Tassha Rathbone, Angela Rhodes, Shannon Shoemaker, Jack Tessier, Allen Wachter, Linda Weinberg

Absent: Glenda Bolton, Jack Burgess, Joan Erickson, Susan Greenwood, Clark Nelson, Kathleen Ogborn, Jeff Stedman, John Taylor, Mary Wake

The minutes from the 26 October 2009 and 9 November 2009 meetings were approved.

Curriculum Committee

Motion: J. Tessier; Seconded: A. Rhodes; Approved	CC09-04	November 3	Liberal Arts & Science	The proposal to add a new course HIST 325 The American Century for the classroom and online instruction was approved. This course will be sent to SUNY for General Education approval.
	CC09-05	November 3	Technology	Teach EMCT 180 in online format (tabled until December).

Discussion on CC09-04 – Added option for online Bachelor’s students for Gen Ed electives; proposed for Gen Ed #4

Discussion on double and triple dipping; how does this work; a continuing SUNY conversation about equalizing Gen Ed requirements across the system
