American Red Cross Blood Drive:   The last drive of the year will be on April 21, 2016, all in the Farrell Student and Community Center loft. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments make it easier for everyone.  Get your appointment today by coming to the OCCE in 217 Farrell Student and Community Center.
Thanks to all who helped and especially to those who donated the gift of life in November.  We collected 58 units, with a goal of 38. Way to go SUNY Delhi!
Delhi Beautification:  Prepare planters for Main Street flower barrels. Saturday April 23rd, meet behind the Delaware County Highway Department building located behind Pizza Hut and the Sidney Federal Credit Union  just below campus at 10 am.  Be prepared to get dirty!  Come to the OCCE to find out more.
Regalia:  Student groups are wanted to sign up for Thursdays for the rest of the semester to help staff our gently-used clothing store here on campus, with all proceeds going to student scholarships.  Come to the OCCE to sign up for your group to commit to one day, 3 hours a week all spring semester.
Woodland Cemetery: Come help us keep this beautiful historic place in the spring, raking, and transporting leaves to keep the cemetery looking beautiful.  Sign up in the OCCE office for Saturdays starting this weekend through the first weekend in May!
Bronco Buddies:  Our own SUNY Delhi Bronco Buddies  engage with local South Kortright Elementary School students in an ongoing, weekly commitment that would be semester or year-long with their CROP Program.  Contact Elizabeth in the OCCE office if you are interested in this meaningful opportunity.   If you are interested, the sooner you get in touch with us, the more likely it will be for us to get you on the bus!  This is a great program!  Leave campus at 2:30, return about 5:30, Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

Please consider our Community Partners

Local Food Pantry in Delhi at the United Ministries Church behind the bank on Church Street.  Drop off donations between 1 - 3 pm on Mondays and Thursdays in the basement, Fellowship Hall.  Volunteers needed to staff the pantry.  Contact Deb at 607-746-1665  or Regina at  607-746-1670 for more information.

Head Start:  Help Delaware Opportunities raise money to purchase backpacks and school supplies for the preschoolers who are going into kindergarten next year. Whatever we raise will be matched by the O'Connor Foundation! This is open to individuals and organizations alike. You can do any type of fundraiser, just bring the money to the OCCE and make sure it is put in the exchange account.  Last year we helped them get a very large matching grant.  Can we do it again?  Yes we can!

The Arc of Delaware County: This nationally renowned organization participates on and off campus with service-learning and other co-curricular events like Holiday parties and Study Buddies.  Contact the OCCE for more information

And many, many more! Please contact Elizabeth Sova, the  O'Connor Center Director if you have any suggestions or ideas.

 * Thanks for a terrific year 2014-15: Over 20,000 hours of community service were performed by our students!    You can make a difference!
