Hanford Mills Ice Harvest: Saturday February 6, 2016 from 9 am - 5 pm at the Hanford Mills Museum. Volunteers are needed to help with the festivities. One Billion Rising: We are proud to be joining campuses and countless individuals and organizations around the world in One Billion Rising. This event brings national and international attention to stopping Violence against Women and Girl. Take your Sweetheart to Breakfast: Delhi Rotary Club fundraiser on Saturday February 13, 2016 from 8 am - 12 noon. Help this service organization raise funds to help our community and the world in many ways. Get a free pancake breakfast, the best of the year! Sign up at the OCCE. Six volunteers needed.
Regalia: Student groups are wanted to sign up for next semester to help staff our gently-used clothing store here on campus, with all proceeds going to student scholarships. Come to the OCCE to sign up for your group to commit to one day, 3 hours a week all spring semester.
Woodland Cemetery: Come help us keep this beautiful historic place in the spring, raking, and transporting leaves to keep the cemetery looking beautiful. Sign up in the OCCE office for Saturdays starting in March or April, depending on the weather.
Local Food Pantry in Delhi at the United Ministries Church behind the bank on Church Street. Drop off donations between 1 - 3 pm on Mondays and Thursdays in the basement, Fellowship Hall. Head Start: Help Delaware Opportunities raise money to purchase backpacks and school supplies for the preschoolers who are going into kindergarten next year. Whatever we raise will be matched by the O'Connor Foundation! This is open to individuals and organizations alike. You can do any type of fundraiser, just bring the money to the OCCE and make sure it is put in the exchange account. Last year we helped them get a very large matching grant. Can we do it again? Yes we can!
The Arc of Delaware County: This nationally renowned organization participates on and off campus with service-learning and other co-curricular events like Holiday parties and Study Buddies.
