Hope for Haiti: We have raised over $3,600. Thanks to all who donated to the Comedy Shows, Talent Show, Pancake Breakfast and bought pins on "Pin Day". There is a Can & Bottle Drive sponsored in part by CADI and Coke.  The Bowl-a-thon on March 10th was lots of fun and a great way to raise funds.  " We are sending all fund to Hope For Haiti, designating our efforts to a "sister" school.  Please be generous!

Habitat for Humanity: Volunteers needed to work on committees for planning this project to help this family whose home burnt to the ground. Contact Jaquelyne Rose at 607-563-2433, Ben Decker 607-746-7558 or Martha Vink 607-746-2191. Come to the OCCS for sign-up forms .

Dance Marathon: Has been cancelled this year but we are still raising money for the Heart of the Catskills Humane Society and Puppies Behind Bars.  Mark your calendars for March 21st, to see some great performances in our "Coffee House for Dance Marathon".  All proceeds will go directly to the causes. Teams can sign-up for next year by giving $50, and each member will receive a dance marathon tee. By making  the commitment this year, we can be well on the way to get pledges for a marathon in the fall.  More info coming

American Cancer Society Daffodil Days: Sponsored by Sigma Omega Epsilon.  Delivery will be the week of March 15th.

O'Connor Center for Community Service Relay for Life fundraising campaign: Everyday in Mac Hall, you could help us reach our goal of just $300.00 to be donated to the 2010 Delhi Relay. Call the OCCS and Mac Hall to give 24 hours notice and come to the OCCS to pick up the Donation Jar, Relay Teddy, Poster and information envelope. You can get community service hours and help us help Relay. To-date we have $55.05, one-sixth of our goal. Thanks to all!

Blood Drive: Monday, April 26th in Murphy Hall.  Please help save lives, and get a scholarship for a Delhi student.  We are going for the trophy, so we need all the sign-ups we can get.  Remember, you must bring your Red Cross card or other form of ID.

Relay for Life: Friday April 30th to Saturday, May 1st.  Legion Field, Delhi  Join a team or form your own.  This is an experience not to be missed, unique to Delaware County.

Bronco Buddies   New program in development to engage Big Buddies with local South Kortright Elementary School Students in an ongoing, weekly commitment that would be semester or year-long.  Contact Danielle in the OCCS office if you are interested in this meaningful opportunity.  We leave on Thursdays around 2:15 and return to campus at about 5:30.  Also leaving the same times on Wednesday starting with B-term.  Call us!

Puppies & Kittens (and Big Dogs too!) Sign up in the OCCS to take a Heart of the Catskills shelter animal to the Countryside Care nursing home.  Contact Danielle Schafer at the O'Connor Center  for more information
