Admission Requirements
- Current RN license
- Graduation from an accredited associate degree or diploma program
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above for prerequisite credits
- Required courses:
- Anatomy & Physiology I & II
- Microbiology
- English
- Psychology
- Statistics*
*While a PSYC/Research Methods course may transfer into the program, students must complete a Math/GE1 course prior to graduation
- A minimum of 60 semester hours from an associate degree nursing program with nursing coursework grades of "C+" or better
- Liberal arts and science courses of "C" or better
- Liberal arts and sciences credits for diploma graduates must be granted from collegiate institution
- One year of experience practicing as an RN immediately preceding matriculation is recommended

How to Apply
The application process at SUNY Delhi is based on rolling admissions wherein we will accept applications until the program is full for that semester. Please keep in mind that our RN to BSN program does fill up quickly. If you are interested in a certain semester it is best to apply early. If you are a recent graduate we recommend applying to our program after you have taken your NCLEX exam.
1) Please identify your application type:
- New Applicant:
If you have never applied to SUNY Delhi before, you must fill out the online application through SUNY. ($50 Application Fee)
- Joint Applicant:
If you are a graduate of SUNY Delhi's Associate Degree in Nursing program within the last 5 years, you will need to fill out the Joint Admissions Form.
If it has been over 5 years since you have graduated, you need to complete a new application online through SUNY. ($50 Application Fee)
- Re-Entry Applicant:
If you were in the BSN program, but withdrew or left the program for more than 2 consecutive sessions (except summer), you must complete the Re-Entry Form.
- Petition for Readmission following Academic Dismissal
Applications for readmission must be received a minimum of 30 days prior to the start of the incoming semester. Please complete the Readmission form. (pdf) / (rft)
2) The following information is required for an admission decision:
- Supplemental Information form pdf / word
- Copy of current RN License Registration Certificate with expiration date (NOT Diploma)
- Official college transcripts from all colleges attended(must be mailed)
- Official copies of all college transcripts are required regardless of the amount of credits taken. Failure to provide all transcripts will result in a fraudulent application.

Spring Semester is full. Those interested in the program should apply for Fall Semester 2012 with the option of taking UNIV 300 this Summer.
