Merit
SUNY Delhi celebrates student achievements through a platform called Merit. Whether you made the Dean’s List, won an award, graduated, or achieved something else that’s noteworthy, we use Merit to share your success.
Your achievements are also automatically shared with local media, your high school, and your hometown press, so the people you might already know can celebrate with you.
Your Personal Merit Page
As a student at SUNY Delhi, you get your own customizable Merit page. Think of it as your online resume, verified by the college. It’s a great way to show your skills and experiences to potential employers, grad schools, and even your grandma. You can personalize your page by:
- Adding a photo and personal bio
- Highlighting your clubs, jobs, and more
- Linking your page to LinkedIn or other social media
- Sharing your accomplishments with just a click
You can find your page by searching your name at delhi.meritpages.com. Click your profile, then sign in on the top right and follow the steps to personalize your page.
What Information We Share
The only information we post is what’s allowed under FERPA, which is the federal law
that protects student privacy. This includes your name, major, class year, and details
about the recognition or activity. We never share private information such as your
grades or address.
You control your privacy settings and can decide what’s visible and who can find your
page. Learn how to manage your Merit privacy settings.
Can You Opt Out?
Yes, Merit is completely optional. If you’d rather not participate, you can opt out at any time by:
- Clicking the unsubscribe link in any Merit email
- Emailing communications@delhi.edu
- Following these opt-out instructions
Publishing Achievements
The college publishes all official updates and achievements. If you’d like to propose an achievement to publish on Merit, contact the Office of Marketing and Communications at communications@delhi.edu or 607-746-4870.
