Callas Center for Educational Technology & Instruction

What We Do

The Callas Center team is here to help the campus community with the online learning platform “Vancko Hall”, educational technology tools, and online/hybrid course design. The purpose of the Callas Center is to partner with faculty and staff as they integrate technology into their educational programs to optimize student learning. The Callas Center provides training development opportunities, issue resolution, and collaborates with various stakeholders. Faculty and staff trainings are frequently held and upcoming dates are viewable in BroncoCONNECT.

The Faculty Lounge

To see a complete list of our trainings and more information about the services we provide, please visit the Faculty Lounge in Vancko Hall (Delhi sign-in required). The Faculty Lounge is an online resource site for faculty and staff at SUNY Delhi. It serves as a repository of resources, guides, and training information for instructors. It is managed by the Callas Center for Educational Technology & Instruction.

SUNY Online Course Quality Review Rubric (OSCQR)

SUNY Delhi utilizes the OSCQR rubric as a framework for developing and ensuring quality online/hybrid courses. SUNY Online created the rubric’s course design standards from best practices, research, legal requirements, and review of other notable rubrics. It is used by the majority of SUNY campuses and the Online Learning Consortium (OLC).
