The first of its kind within SUNY, our online master’s program in Criminal Justice provides an advanced understanding of the criminal justice system, positioning you for management and leadership roles in the field. Our exciting and relevant curriculum consists of core classes in research methods and theory, while electives allow you to choose classes tailored to your individual interests. Electives include Ethical Issues in Criminal Justice, Effective Policing Methods, The Criminal Court System, Crime Victim Studies, Mental Health in the Criminal Justice System, and Forensic Investigations. Learn from instructors with extensive experience in the field, such as practicing attorneys, current and former law enforcement officers and criminal justice researchers.

Admissions requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited baccalaureate program
• Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 2.5

Advance your career and inspire meaningful changes in the nursing industry! Our flexible master’s program in Nursing Administration draws from the fields of nursing, business, technology, and more to prepare you for leadership positions in the contemporary healthcare environment. You’ll take courses in health policy, healthcare technology, human resources, strategic management, nursing research, and more. Two practicums will focus on project management.Equipped with marketable skills and versatile knowledge, you’ll be ready to take on a management role in the nursing field, lead others, and impact policies and procedures. Our program also provides an excellent foundation for doctoral studies.

Admissions requirements:

• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited baccalaureate program
• Undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Unencumbered license to practice as an RN
• Descriptive Statistics course with a grade of C or better 

Educate the next generation of exceptional nursing! Our flexible Nursing Education master's program prepares you for a career as faculty in pre-licensure and baccalaureate programs, as a staff development coordinator, or as an in-service and community educator. It also provides an excellent foundation for doctoral studies. Your courses will cover topics in leadership, policy, communication, ethics, diversity, advanced practice, technology, and scholarly inquiry. You’ll also take electives and complete two practicums.  Requiring only 36 credits, our curriculum allows you to graduate faster than most other Nursing Education programs. Full-time students can graduate in just three semesters!

• Unencumbered license to practice as an RN
• Descriptive Statistics course with a grade of C or better 

Our post-graduate certificates allow nurses with existing master's or doctorate degrees to gain the skills and qualifications to refocus and advance their careers. You can earn our 12-credit certificate in two semesters in a convenient part-time online format.

• The Nursing Administration certificate prepares you to become a nurse manager or executive in a contemporary healthcare setting. 
• The Nursing Education certificate  program prepares you to fulfill roles as faculty in pre-licensure and baccalaureate programs, as well as staff development coordinators, clinical nurse educators, and in-service and community educators. 

Admissions requirements:

• A New York State (or state of residence) unencumbered license as a registered nurse
• Master’s degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
