Alumni Welcome & Annual Awards Reception with College President Mary Bonderoff

Celebrate with fellow alumni and join in a toast to special reunion years ending in
0s and 5s and this year’s Alumni Award recipients. The 2025 Alumni Award honorees
are: Dr. Kristen Fratamico-Reed ’00 (Veterinary Science Technology), Richard Bialkowski
’20 (Criminal Justice), Mr. Lee Stepp ’92 (Construction Technology), Ms. Amanda Gerard
’12 (Veterinary Science Technology), and SUNY Delhi Applied Technologies Professor

How will artificial intelligence shape the careers of tomorrow—and what does that mean for students entering the workforce today or alumni looking to change careers? SUNY Delhi alumna Dina Carreras-Menzie, software developer and CEO of Mastery Rising, will share how AI is already transforming industries, which jobs may be at risk, and where exciting new opportunities are emerging. This talk will give students, their families, and alumni a clear, balanced view of how to prepare for success in an AI-driven world. - Illuminating Hygiene: SUNY Delhi Nurses Use UV Light for Infection Control Training
South Hall Nursing Lab – Sanford Hall 221, 11 a.m. - Noon
Participants will apply "Glo Germ," a simulated germ solution visible under fluorescent light, to their hands. After washing, they will examine their hands under UV light to assess the effectiveness of their technique. This visual feedback highlighted commonly missed areas and reinforced the importance of thorough hand hygiene in preventing the spread of infection. The demonstration is a powerful reminder of how crucial proper handwashing is in clinical settings. - College of Applied Professions (CAP) – Various Locations 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Delhi offers various certificates and degrees in technical fields that are in high
demand. Learn more about the college’s cutting-edge technologies and applied learning

Historical Walking Tour of Delhi Walking Tour with SUNY Delhi Professor and Architecture

Meet at 8 Court Street by the Delhi Post Office/Shuttle Drop Off
1:30 p.m. (approx. 60 minutes)
College Professor Lisa Tessier will lead a walking tour featuring historical buildings
in the Village of Delhi with assistance from Delhi Architecture student Nadine Elkommos
Youssef. The walking tour will last approximately 90 minutes. Join this tour (rain
or shine) for some exercise, views of historical architecture, and insights into local
history. Buildings will be in relatively close proximity focusing mainly on structures
around the Courthouse Square including Former Methodist Episcopal Church, Village
Hall, County Courthouse, United Ministry, Delaware National Bank, St. John's Episcopal
Church, and the former Central House/McKeegan's Law Office.

Bushel is an experimental, collectively run mixed-use space located at 106 Main Street in Delhi that features wonderful displays and hosts unique events. There’s a Clothing Swap Sunday, September 28 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Trade in your gently used clothing and accessories and add new items to your closet. Coffee and tea, cold drinks, and good company.
There are a limited number of rooms available at the Hampton by Hilton in Oneonta at a special group rate for Delhi Alumni on September 26-28, 2025.
