Constitution Day
2022 Constitution Day Open Forum
SUNY Delhi will host its 18th Annual Constitution Day Tuesday, September 19 at 6 p.m.
in The Okun Theatre. Winners of this year's Constitution Day essay and video contest
will be announced, followed by a presentation and discussion. This year's presentation,
led by Dr. Daniel Gashler, "Voices from Detention," will investigate immigration and
citizenship through testimonies from people who are currently being held in US immigration
detention.
The program is free and open to the public and part of the college's 18th Annual Constitution Day, which celebrates the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787. Voter registration information and applications will be available at the event.
For more information, contact Dan Gashler, 607-746-4372, gashedj@delhi.
