End-of-Program Student Learning Outcomes (EPSLOs)

A graduate of the Nursing Education MS program should be able to:

  • Integrate advanced knowledge from nursing, related sciences, and humanities to influence and improve healthcare in diverse settings and environments.
  • Demonstrate competencies to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based interventions and conduct a scholarly inquiry.
  • Incorporate advanced nursing practice standards to advocate for health policy and effect systems-level change within populations, healthcare environments, and organizational systems.
  • Apply skills of communication, consultation, and collaboration on intra/interprofessional healthcare teams to promote improved health outcomes in a global population
  • Deliver client-centered and culturally appropriate care to improve health outcomes for all populations, guided by evidence-based strategies and the nursing process.
  • Apply professional nursing values, advanced practice principles, and integrate healthcare technologies to coordinate, enhance, and evaluate care in multiple settings.
