  • SkillsFirst is a free resource for SUNY Delhi students that offers a Resume and Cover Letter Builder to help you create keyword-optimized documents tailored for specific job descriptions. 
  • SkillsFirst reviews are available Monday-Friday.
  • Don't forget your three professional references!

Market Yourself!

  • Create an account on Handshake, our internship and job search engine. Create a profile to show potential employers all of the skills and work you have completed.
  • Create an account with LinkedIn to network, share ideas and search positions within your field.
  • Create a SUNY Delhi Merit page to share SUNY Delhi stories, your student profile and campus organizations!
  • Generate a prospective list of potential places to work. Seek out people in these organizations with whom you can network.
  • Take on a shadowing and internship experience.
