Citizenship Award Nomination Form

The Student Life Division presents the Citizenship Award annually to recognize deserving SUNY Delhi individuals and/or groups who possess the qualities of outstanding citizenship. Characteristics may include a sense of responsibility to the campus and local community and a belief that acting for the benefit of others is right and good, regardless of recognition for such action.
Nominations from students, faculty and staff are welcome. The following are helpful factors to consider when nominating :

Shows great citizenship and volunteer spirit
Participates in activities that make a difference in the community and our quality of life
Has a positive impact in the community
Has demonstrated a personal commitment to the benefit of the community
Has performed an outstanding achievement or act of heroism
The community has benefited from their involvement
Has overcome significant adversity
Has positive and inspiring attributes that serve to encourage others
Students must be a currently enrolled SUNY Delhi student for the current academic year
Students must be in good academic and judicial standing with the college

Any member of the campus community can nominate an individual student, employee on campus, or a student club or Greek organization. Completed nominations must be submitted by Friday, March 31, 2023.
