Health Services

  • Consultation with a Registered Nurse for assessment, treatment and/or referral to one of our Providers.
  • Over-the-counter medications, certain prescription medicines, when prescribed by the Nurse Practitioners
  • GYN exams & Women's Health
  • Follow-up care for chronic health problems
  • Crutches, canes, slings, etc. are available on loan
  • Confidential STI testing
  • Self-Care Center 

Counseling and Advocacy Services

  • Individual confidential counseling for adjustment issues, depression, stress and anxiety, academic problems, relationship issues, substance abuse and other mental or behavioral health issues
  • Group Counseling for peer support
  • Crisis services for students in need of immediate assistance during business hours (evening and weekend callers should contact their Residence Hall Director or call University Police at 607-746-4700)
  • Consultation with the Associate Dean of Students or a counselor to ask questions or talk about a concern (these are usually brief, one-time meetings)
  • Assistance with food and security, housing problems, or adjustment to college issues
  • Assistance with personal leaves and decisions regarding withdrawing from college
