Hiring Freeze Exemption Form
This form should be used for all faculty and staff positions. This includes:
- Replacements
- New Positions
- Reclassifications or Promotions
- Full-time, Part-time and Temporary
In accordance with New York State Division of the Budget bulletin B-1182(Rev) and SUNY guidelines, campuses are required to provide documentation and justification for all hires including student employees. Student Assistant Hires do not require the hiring freeze form however, a justification for the request is required in Interview Exchange.
