Student celebrating in cap and gown

Commencement 2021

Saturday, May 15, 2021

SUNY Delhi will honor our May 2021, December 2020 & August 2020 graduates with a memorable virtual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 15, 2021. All graduates, families, and friends are invited to view this special celebration online.

The virtual celebration will feature messages from President Michael Laliberte, Provost Thomas Jordan, and this year’s student speaker. Each academic school will then host a separate segment which includes a brief speech by the Dean. A faculty member will read the names and any academic or community service distinctions of each pre-registered graduate as the graduate’s photo is displayed on the screen.  Finally, there will be a conferral of degrees and the singing of the Alma Mater.
