Commencement 2026

We enthusiastically encourage faculty and staff to participate in the Commencement ceremonies! Your support makes this day possible. Thank you for being part of it.

Faculty members are encouraged to process with their designated colleges and volunteer at the other ceremony.

Staff are encouraged to process and/or volunteer at one or both ceremonies

Lunch will be provided for faculty and staff who are participating in both events.

Please note: seating inside the venue is reserved exclusively for ticketed guests. The best way for faculty and staff to attend the event is by processing or volunteering.

Sign Up to Process or Volunteer

If you are processing:

• Wear your own academic regalia or borrow regalia from the provost’s office. If you need to borrow regalia, please indicate that on the sign-up form.
• Please arrive to line up at least one hour before your ceremony begins.
• Faculty and staff participants will line up in the Clark Field House hallway. Please use the entrance near the Fitness Center.

If you are volunteering:

• You will receive a SUNY Delhi staff polo shirt and credential to wear at the event. Please wear black or khaki pants/shorts/skirt with your polo shirt.
• Please wear comfortable shoes as most positions included extended periods of standing.

For your comfort, please consider bringing a water bottle (bottle filling stations will be available).

Parking Information:

To allow parking space for guests, faculty and staff must park off campus on Commencement Day and walk to campus.  Shuttles will transport you to Clark Field House from designated locations. If you need parking accommodations, please let the officer at the Main Entrance of campus know and they will direct you to the appropriate location for faculty/staff accessible parking.
