Pharmacy Fee

Students who pay the optional $30/semester pharmacy fee can receive unlimited medications from the Center's dispensary, as prescribed by the Center's medical providers.

Students who choose not to participate in the pharmacy fee, those students will be billed the pre-determined cost of those medication to their accounts on a use basis.

Those students who do not wish to utilize the Pharmacy Fee must waive the fee before the second Friday of the semester with student financial services.

Refunds for Voluntary Withdrawal: 100% refund during the first 10 days of classes (Opt-out period) if no services had been provided. After first 10 days no refunds will be issued.

Prescription services that are not included in the pharmacy fee include: any immunization that might be required to be on campus, recommended for travel or suggested for preventative treatment.  This includes PPD testing.

The following antibiotics are stocked in the center at this time:

  • Augmentin
  • Azithromycin
  • Cefdinir
  • Ceftriaxone
  • Cephalexin (Keflex)
  • Cipro
  • Eye drops (Cipro & Erythromycin)
  • Ear Drops (neomycin/polymyxin b, dexamethasone)
  • Flagyl
  • Macrobid
  • Silvadene Cream

The following prescription medication are stocked in the center at this time:

  • Albuterol MDI inhaler x1 per semester- script for additional will be sent to local pharmacy *($20.00)
  • Benzonatate (Tessalon Perles) *($5.00)
  • Diflucan *($5.00)
  • Ella x 2 per semester and then will be charged for any additional *($25.00)
  • Famotidine (Pepcid) *($5.00)
  • Flonase *($10.00)
  • Hydrocortisone 2.5% Cream *($5.00)
  • Monophasic Birth Control Pill *($10.00)
  • Permethrin 5% cream *($5.00)
  • Plan B x 2 per semester *($25.00)
  • Prednisone *($5.00)
  • Triphasic Birth Control Pill *($10.00)

Medications are provided for acute illness only. Medications for chronic illness are not available (i.e. hypertension, diabetes.); however, prescriptions are written when applicable. Note: Prescriptions from external physicians cannot be filled at the center.
