SUNY Delhi’s Online Programs Remain Competitive in U.S. News Rankings

According to newly released U.S. News Best Online Programs rankings for 2020, SUNY Delhi remains highly competitive among the nation’s top institutions in delivering outstanding, career-focused degrees in the contemporary and versatile setting of online education.  
 
SUNY Delhi is the second-highest ranked SUNY institute for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs. Schools in this category were assessed based on their ability to create an engaging online learning environment, the availability of strong support and technology services, faculty credentials, and expert opinion.   
 
“Being recognized among the frontrunners of online education is a testament to the strength of our online programs,” said SUNY Delhi Provost Kelli Ligeikis. “By offering interactive and rewarding learning experiences as well as up-to-date curricula, we are able to compete with some of the largest colleges and universities in the nation. The findings are supported by a number of additional accolades for SUNY Delhi’s online bachelor’s programs. Intelligent.com recently ranked Delhi’s online bachelor’s programs in hospitality management, criminal justice, and RN-to-BSN among the best in the country. Best College Reviews ranked Delhi’s hotel and restaurant management online degree fourth in the nation. The RN-to-BSN online degree was also recognized by Nursing Schools Almanac.   
 
In addition to top program rankings, Online Schools Center has rated SUNY Delhi among the 25 most technologically savvy online schools nationwide, offering an exceptional digital learning experience. SUNY Delhi’s online degrees have also been recognized for their affordability by the College Affordability Guide and AffordableSchools.net.   
 
In the category for 2020 Best Online Master’s Degrees in Nursing by U.S. News, SUNY Delhi is one of only three SUNY nursing schools to make the list. Nursing programs were assessed based on student engagement, faculty credentials, expert opinion, services and technologies, and student excellence.   
 
Previously, SUNY Delhi’s School of Nursing received the prestigious designation of 2019-2023 Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing. The recognition is given to nursing schools that help raise the bar for all nursing programs by role modeling visionary leadership and environments of inclusive excellence. SUNY Delhi is the only SUNY campus and one of only five other educational institutions in the state to receive this honor.

About SUNY Delhi’s online programs  
SUNY Delhi currently offers online degrees in electrical construction and instrumentation (AOS), criminal justice (BS), culinary arts management (BBA), event management (BBA), hotel and restaurant management (BBA), and nursing RN-to-BSN, as well as master’s degrees in nursing administration (MS) and nursing education (MS).   
 
Online classes are available at the start of the on-campus term each fall, winter, and spring semester, and can be completed either full time or part time at a self-directed pace. Online students have access to extensive support services such as tutoring, library resources, discussion forums, academic advisement, and career development assistance.
