Campus Communication & Mass Email

The Office of Marketing and Communications coordinates mass emails to the campus community. These campus newsletters highlight events, news, announcements, and other information to students, faculty, and staff.

  • Delhi Today (for faculty and staff) is sent Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
  • Bronco Bulletin (for students) is sent Tuesdays and Thursdays. Faculty and staff also receive the Bronco Bulletin.
  • Newsletters are not published on legal holidays.

All members of the Delhi community are expected to take a few minutes each day to stay informed by reading the newsletters.

Newsletter Guidelines

  • We only accept submissions from a SUNY Delhi email.
  • Plan ahead and submit your posting 24-48 hours in advance.  The deadline for submissions is 2 p.m. on the business day prior to publication. This deadline is strictly enforced.
  • Submissions must be related to events or activities sponsored or hosted by the college or college-affiliated organizations. The Office of Marketing and Communications reserves the right to make decisions on whether messages are appropriate.
  • Attachments cannot be included. If necessary, you may include a link to relevant or additional information (e.g. BroncoCONNECT for events or other approved SUNY Delhi webpages).
  • Postings are limited to 130 words. We do not make exceptions.
  • To keep the news fresh, posts may run up to three times, but no more than twice in one week.  We will do our best to accommodate run date requests.
  • Submitters are responsible for ensuring:
    • The submission has supervisor or advisor approval
    • Accuracy of all details (names, dates, contact info, links)
    • Proofreading is completed prior to submission
  • Event postings must include all relevant event details (date, time, duration, location) as well as the intended audience (students, faculty/staff, campus-wide, or open to general public).
  • Fundraisers: Only approved fundraisers coordinated by the College Advancement Office may be promoted.
  • Parking lots: Approval from a College Leadership team member is required. The event must also be approved in EMS.
  • Student submitters must use their campus supervisor's contact information.
  • The Office of Marketing and Communications reserves the right to review or delay messages until content is verified.
  • Do not ask for “special favors” for your post. Posts are published in the order received. Submit early to appear near the top of the list. We will not prioritize requests
  • Emojis will not be included.
  • In compliance with FERPA, we do not publish student names related to off-campus events or trips. Other FERPA considerations may apply.
