Resignation

Individuals resigning or retiring from the college workforce are expected to provide at least two-weeks’ notice (four weeks for faculty and professional staff), and submit a letter to the Office of Human Resources (OHR), stating the last date on payroll and first day of resignation/retirement. The letter to OHR must have an original signature. An employee who is leaving college service for whatever reason should make an appointment to meet with the OHR at least two weeks prior to the final day of work, to learn about how their accruals will be paid, when to expect their final paycheck, go over the exit checklist, etc.  The employee's final paycheck may be delayed if the exit checklist is not completed and returned prior to their last day on payroll.
