Veteran Education Benefits
The Office of Veteran Affairs is here to serve you and do everything in our power to help ensure your success at SUNY Delhi. We know how cumbersome the road can be when starting a career in higher education and we want to assist you in this process. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our office with any questions.
The Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 requires educational institutions to make certain disclosures to students using federal military and/or VA educational benefits. To view and print a copy of an estimated personalized cost of attendance, you can visit the SUNY Net Price Cost Calculator and select "Delhi" from the dropdown. Additional financial information can be found at the NCES College Navigator site.
The SUNY Financial Aid Plan (FAP) will provide a more in-depth analysis and accurate picture of student cost once the student has filed their FAFSA, completed a SUNY application, and has been accepted by a campus.
VA Status Form
Students that plan to use Veteran Education Benefits are required to submit a VA Status Form before the start of each semester. Some students may also be required to submit their new or updated Certification of Eligibility (COE).
The VA Status Form is available online in our Student Forms Portal.
How to Submit a Request:
- First-Time Users: Create an account on our Student Forms Portal by using your SUNY Delhi student email. Be sure to enter your name and any other requested information exactly as it appears on your FAFSA.
- Once an account has been created, students will log in using Single Sign-On (SSO) with their Delhi credentials at the Student Forms Portal .
- Once logged in, click on 'Manage Request' and select the VA Status Form.
